Crowned House — Concept Study V2

An exploration of composition, materiality and light.

Version 2 introduces Equitone cladding in a muted pink tone, chosen for the way it responds to changing light and lends depth to the facade. The crown-like parapet is articulated with anodised gold flashing, forming a fine, reflective edge that captures daylight with quiet precision. As evening falls, concealed lighting traces the roofline, revealing the crown as a subtle architectural gesture.

Drawing from the compositional qualities of painting, the facade is conceived as a living canvas where colour, texture, light and shadow continuously evolve. Rather than applying art to architecture, the architecture itself becomes the artwork.
